Stages of the competition

Registration and submission of proposals

From October 25 the registration period will open, ending on 30 November 2010.

Consultation period
A consultation period opens from the date of publication of the rules until 15 November 2010. The queries will be addressed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and the responses will be published in www.imaginavelluters.es .

Public exhibition of works
In the days following the date of delivery, all work received will be published on the website of the competition, where they will be exposed and accessible to the public for a period of 20 days. During these twenty days the public can vote via the Website to make a first selection of proposals.
This website will publish, as soon as they appear, dates of resolution of the meeting and voting of the jury, as well as the jury's decision.

Selection of finalists
The procedure to select a total of 10 finalists will be as follows:
The Five proposals most voted or rated through the competition website will be selected. The other five proposals will be selected by the jury.


Public presentation of selected works
Once selected, the ten finalists teams will have a deadline to prepare a presentation. These presentations will be made publicly in the presence of the jury and the general public in a venue of Velluters. The date, time and venue of the presentations will be announced on the website of the competition.
The presentation of the selected work will not require the physical presence of the authors of the proposal, but in that case, the authors will send a video presenting their work. The presentation of each of the proposals will have a maximum duration of 10 minutes, in which each author will make the necessary explanation to the public, highlighting the issues they consider most important. The organizers will provide the means to make digital projections.
Resolution of the Competition
The winning proposal will be chosen as follows:
-The jury members, after the presentations, will cast their votes for the best of the proposals presented.
-Each member of the audience will deposit a vote for the best proposal in a box after the presentation. The proposal most voted will have the public's vote that will be added to the jury's votes.

- in case of a tie, the public's vote will be counted twice.
The proposal which obtains the most votes will win.
